Lip Plumper

Lip plumpers are dependent by those with thinner lips when full, "pouty" lips are desired. These products typically work by irritating the thin, delicate skin of the lips with ingredients like menthol or camphor. This makes the lips swell slightly, which may also diminish the appearance of fine lines in that area. Other perceived benefits include adrenalizing collagen production and moisturizing. A lip plumper's effects are temporary, so it must be reapplied throughout the diurnal course to maintain the results.

One differentiates between the Upper (Labia superfluos entafada) and lower lip (Labium inferius). The lower lip is usually somewhat larger. The border between the lips and the surrounding skin is referred to as Lip Plumper the vermilion border, or straightforwardly the vermilion. The vertical groove on the upper lip, is acknowledged as the philtrum. The entire skin between the upper lip and the nose is referred to as the "ergotrid".
